The Principal - Miss Charlotte Wood

Miss Charlotte has been dancing since the age of 3 in Ballet, Tap and Modern, then adding Ballroom and Old Time to her weekly classes, she took exams throughout this time and performed in many shows, pantomimes and also entered Old Time Dance competitions where she gained many medals and achieved medallist of the year at aged 13.
At aged 16 she left home to join Pattison Theatre School on a full time Musical Theatre Course where she gained 5 Associate Dance Teaching Qualifications and also performed in the many shows they held. She also had teaching experience whilst at the school.
Upon leaving the Musical Theatre Course Charlotte then performed professionally for 15 years dancing and singing in shows throughout the UK and many parts of the world.
After retiring from Performing and with Teaching Qualifications in all branches of IDTA and ISTD and also a qualified Zumba Instructor, Charlotte started her Dance Academy in the year 2010, the classes are based in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth area and cater for all ages, 2 up to adults. The pupils work towards exams each year with a high standard of work and to date has 100% pass rate, students also take part in various shows. Charlotte also choreographs for local Theatre Groups in which some of her pupils have a chance to audition to take part in their shows.
